.STL File / 3D model: DOWNLOAD CURVED PATTERN IPHONE 5 CASE BY MARK LEDWOLD

  • Item Details
  • I designed a case for the IPhone 5s/5c using Solidworks.

The this layout was chosen by me as I believed the combition of distinct curves created a layout thta was unusual and fascinating.

This case clips easily onto the telephone shielding the edge and the rear from scratches.

I designed it to be a print that was a quick and simple - set level down onto the print bed, so the file will print as it is - without any need for any additional measures or support materials.

This instance was printed using an Ultimaker 2.

I used white PLA - at a layer height of 0.2mm and print speed 50mm/s with great effects, as it's a quick print you could reduce the layer height farther or select slower print settings to create an instance of even higher quality.

  • Import the file into your printer applications with the back.

Turn off support fabric and you are ready to print.

The finish on the rear of the case will be more gleaming if it's printed onto a smooth surface like glass, printing onto other stuff including masking tape will lead to more of a matte finish.
