Tevo Double Y Axis Linear Rod, was going to use Linear Rail but determined on Rod because its cheaper & in keeping with the printer?s great prints at a Fantastic price mantra, like any toy you can spend & spend $$$, & I wanted to print as far as you can,
The "Y" belt has pretension-er, This was Inspired by Dado Hajdarevic Design.
All pieces were printed at 0.2millimeter Layer Height, 50% fill, No support, Although you can use 10% fill to the 5mm belt adjusting nut & drilling Template, or anything suits.
You will need 2 x ( 8mm x 500mm ) Linear Rod & 4 x 8mm Linear bearing Block ( you can get away with 3 x cubes but I used 4, 1 x M5 x 20mm & 1 x M5 Nut For Adaptive end.
16 x M4x12mm hex socket screws.
Note : you can use support if you wish, Printing with No support was a part of the design.
Using the original acrylic knob plate, The drilling template was located using a 3mm screw & drilling 8 x 4.5millimeter holes on one side only. ( much easier than Measuring )
The hand I mounted the bearing blocks in the centre using cable ties to permit for any tolerance Movement etc, between printers/printing, using the drilling template I marked the four holes & filed the plate to the edge as it?s close.
I have updated / added Drill Template & Carriage Ends to suit 10mm Linear Rod & 10mm Bearing Block.
As I originally wanted, I have all 4 x Bearing block. When I initially did this it was tight if they were all bolted down, so I put the Bearing blocks on one side to the centre & fastened them using cable ties as.
One of my bearing blocks was faulty/damaged & have replaced it.

Modification to 8mm rear carriage, Electric connection for stepper motor may now face the rear of the printer, Additional holes opposite stepper motor instead of cutout for extra strength, allow allen key to tighten stepper motor mounting screws & easier removal / assembly of stepper motor pulley.
