.STL File / 3D model: SUPERNATURAL DEMON BLADE

My girlfriend and I were going into a Halloween Costume party dressed as a Dean Winchester and a vampire. I had the professional teeth or o would have been dean! ... Anyways, of all of the weapons and things on the show I thought the demon blade was a pretty good weapon that represented dean, and might be easy to print. I thought with it being so hot that someone would have needed to have a fantastic model of it. But to my surprise there were very few versions, and not one that "matched" the demon blade in my opinion. So the night before the party I designed this one, and published it on my DaVinci Jr. 1.0 while we slept! It required 7:17 to print! but came out great. I hope you enjoy! Another note, I had more detail about the hilt of the deal but had to remove it so that the handle could be printed standing up. I needed to work with my printer's print bed which is just 6"x6" so the "tang" of the deal is just a partial insertion, but with the tolerances on my printer it was perfect and remains in place firmly without adhesive, Eventually I plan on sanding, and painting it to make it look really official!

Print Settings

Printer:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

Excellent

Infill:

10% (minimal)

Notes:

I printed the blade laying down, the knuckle shield on its back (the angle is extremely steep but my printer did a descent job so I think it could be done without supports in a pinch) and the handle is to be printed position on the hilt, no supports are needed for the handle.
