This was my first attempt at reproducing a model. It is from Star Wars certainly one of my favourite versions.
It was made by poly-modelling through screen shots from the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic (SWTOR) game.
This version looks fantastic in aluminium if your into investment casting. I've cast this model together with the PLA burnout process and it comes out with almost no effort due to its saussage-like shape.
This layout is based on COPYRIGHTED CONTENT from SWTOR and fan art. It's supplied here for educational goals to inspire other Star Wars fans for non commercial use. The copyright ownerâÂÂs details, and much more info on this particular excellent game are available at www.swtor.com
Note: I 'm unsure if I've chosen the right Permit for this kind of thing (I canâÂÂt find an explanation of what it is that they mean...). But like all Star Wars fan art on this particular website, this really isn't to be utilized for commercial functions.
This model will need supports to print. I've printed it at 100 microns and it comes out rather nicely in its vertical orientation. Every printer differs so youll have to make the call on how best to slit it with stuff and your preferred set up.
