*** PLEASE NOTE *** The previous design had problems with the caliper jaws crashing into the arms of the Rostock. It is often repaired now. This mount lets you use an electronic caliper to the effector of your Rostock Max printer in place of a dial gauge when calibrating your printer. The model is made to fit conventional calipers. The hole is meant to be an extremely tight fit though some filing may be needed.
Things wanted: - 1x Caliper Mount - 1x Standard 15cm electronic caliper - 1x Moderate sized rubber band. Remove situated on both sides of the far end of the caliper. The caliper mount is meant to be tight fitting so some filing may be required to get the caliper. Verify the caliper is fix and replace the two small metal plates. About midway down into the mount slide the caliper. Remove the caliper and your hotend mount should take the location of it. Subsequently, use a rubber band to create pressure between the lower jaw of the caliper and back left fin on the effector plate. You can use the electronic caliper in exactly the same manner you'd use a dial gauge.
