This version is accurate to the F22's type as much as was possible whilst still getting an excellent flight (the supercomputers were left out!). Fast, affordable and simple to print (support free), these airplanes supply hours of pleasure and all you need is an elastic band!

  • If you've got a heated/glass print bed afterward it can save you lots of effort and time if you print the glider with no raft. Your print layers should be set to either 0.2mm or 0.1mm (the wings are 0.4mm thick and the wing detail an extra 0.2mm). Your first print layer cannot surpass 0.2mm. Ideally align your first print layer running parallel to the cockpit after which vary your print layers by 90 degrees (not 45 degrees) to prevent warping of the wing. It is not the end of the world should youn't do this but it's urged. The dihedral wing joint (the two grooves running down the cockpit) must be clamped and glued to the central rotating shaft in order to pull the wings upwards into a shallow, symmetrical 'V' - exceptionally significant for steady flight. Assemble using an excellent model adhesive. I have located the greatest technique for launching is: Attach an elastic band, you can use trial and error to locate strength and your favorite distance, to the 'trigger'. Hold the airplane by the back, place your first and second fingers on your thumb and the top side on the underside. Pull back and raise the tension in the elastic band making sure it is not twisted. Train the airplane at fire and a small up angle! From experience, if flying your airplane in a field with long grass be sure you keep an eye on where it lands!
